As per the Government of India guidelines, the vaccination drive has taken place in phases. From 1st May 2020, people above 18 can make their online registration for the Covid vaccine. All people who are above the age of 18 years and have recovered from Covid-19 at least 4-8 weeks prior are eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine. You should not take the vaccine if you are currently undergoing Covid treatment, or pregnant or lactating, or if you have a history of allergic reaction or anaphylaxis to vaccines or injections or have any bleeding disorders. People who are hospitalized for the treatment of any disease should temporarily avoid taking the Covid-19 vaccination.
How to book an appointment for the Covid-19 vaccination?
It is compulsory to register on the COWIN website to take a vaccination. Here is how you can do the COVID-19 vaccination registration. Step 1: The first step is to visit the Covid vaccine registration website and register yourself. Step 2: You will have to register using your mobile number, date of birth, Aadhar card number/PAN Card/Passport/Voter ID. You can make COVID-19 vaccination registration for up to 4 people on one mobile number. Step 3: Next, you have to enter the location for the Covid-19 vaccine. You can choose your nearest NH Assurance centre for vaccination. Step 4: Confirm your slot. You will be vaccinated soon!
